About Us
Welcome to our farm! We are John and Jen Fawcett. Just a couple of people living out a lifelong dream.
After living in the Twin Cities and raising our family we found ourselves longing for a change of scenery. In 2021 we established Alder Hills Farm in Finlayson, Minnesota. It is here that we have been able to turn our hobbies into a small family run business.
We are passionate about leaving this land better than we found it. With the practice of regenerative farming in mind we have sheep, pigs, chicken and bee’s currently on the farm. We hope to add cattle soon. We rotate our animals often on various pastures to gently use the land and improve the soil.
Here on the farm you will find a family working to provide for themselves and to share the products with others. We have been gardening and bee keeping for many years. It brings us great joy to be able to share the homegrown products with our community, friends and family.

Raw Honey from the bee’s on our farm. Available in glass jars $10, $15 or $25
Lip Balm $4 each
Farm fresh eggs $4 per dozen
Soap $4 per bar. Variety of scents. Full loaf $35 (available via special order)
Pasture raised broiler chicken $25. Whole chicken >5 lbs fed nonGMO, organic and soy free feed.
Pasture raised pig whole or half
